Monica Brown Moss
Monica Brown Moss is a wife, mother, and spiritual companion who is passionate about helping others deepen their relationship with God through spiritual formation and accompaniment. A graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary, she has served in ministry alongside her husband, pastor of a church on the South Side of Chicago, for nearly three decades.
Grounded in a commitment to holistic well-being of mind, body, and spirit, Monica believes that spiritual growth flourishes when people are seen, heard, and supported. She serves on the boards of the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the American Heart Association, advocating for food access, health equity, and stronger communities.
As a spiritual director, Monica creates sacred, welcoming spaces where individuals can listen for God's presence, deepen their faith, and discern the movement of the Spirit in their lives. She believes that storytelling and compassionate listening are powerful pathways to healing, transformation, and hope. Accompanying others on their spiritual journey is both a privilege and a joy.
