Allie Lundblad, MDiv (alundblad@claretcenter.org, 224-420-7119), is a student in the clinical track of the Pastoral Theology PhD program at Garrett Seminary, developing her counseling skills while also exploring intersections of religion and psychology. She is particularly interested in the ways that therapy and spiritual practice can enhance each other for the wellbeing of individuals and communities.

Before coming to Claret Center, Allie spent nearly a decade as a pastor, a role in which she often witnessed people’s creative capacity for change and came to understand how big a difference the right support can make. As a counselor, she is intentional about creating space where people feel welcome to bring their whole selves —  struggles, strengths, hopes, questions and imagination — and their whole stories. As a student of narrative and solution-focused therapy, she hopes to help clients shape the stories they tell about themselves and the world in empowering ways.

Allie has significant experience working with those experiencing loss and grief and in offering premarital counseling. In addition to being a pastor, she has worked as a student chaplain at Advocate Christ Medical Center and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and the University of Chicago Divinity School.

Allie sees clients at the Claret Center and at St. Francis Xavier Parish in LaGrange, as well as via telehealth.
