Melissa Maldonado

Melissa Maldonado is currently pursuing her Master’s in Community Counseling at Loyola University. Through her career, she’s had the wonderful opportunity to work with college students with disabilities and volunteer in community centers that provide services to Spanish speaking communities. Many of her experiences prepared her to better integrate cultural contexts into practice, and she hopes to be able to address your own unique experiences in therapy. She also aims to provide a safe space for you to feel understood and empowered in your story! More about Melissa

Together, you can work with Melissa on developing holistic, integrative, and trauma informed strategies that will guide you through life’s challenges and help you cultivate the relationship with yourself and people in your community! After sessions, Melissa hopes you feel lighter with any challenges in your life, and she hopes you’re able to see your infinite potential in tackling these challenges. Lastly, she is bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking), and she looks forward to working with you at the St. Mary of the Lake and Our lady of Lourdes Parish.
