Katey Baker-Smith is the Operations Manager at Claret Center. She is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, where she majored in Spanish and Political Science and minored in Arabic.
She has spent time traveling in Bolivia, Romania, Nepal, Malaysia, and Thailand, working and interning for various non-for-profit organizations. Her work has included writing reports on peasant farming in Romania that have been utilized by international groups such as the UN, producing research and reports on the Middle East and North Africa that have been published in books and articles. She also managed a gourmet popsicle shop.
