Retreats

Movement and Dance Therapy
Movement and dance therapy is a body-orientated psychotherapy. The basis is humanistic psychology in which the body, the spirit and the soul of the human being create a unity. MDT works with the very, very old healing-power of dance and movement. MDT offers the chance to learn, to know, to accept and to love one’s own being, to discover behavior patterns from the past and from the present and thus to understand, to order and to integrate the now conscious realizations into one’s daily life. MDT is a way to own the depth of one’s personality in all areas; it facilitates attentiveness and it can help develop self-esteem. When one engages  in MDT one develops the potential for a life of taking responsibility for oneself with deep joy.
