Complementary Body Therapy
Our bodies are a source for healing and growth. Developing awareness of the body helps integrate wholeness/holiness into daily life.
Massage Therapy
Massage is the manipulation of the muscles and soft tissues (ligaments and joints) of the body with varying degrees of pressure and movement. Massage is wonderful for self care. It helps calm the body, quiet the mind and nourish the spirit. It provides an overall sense of well-being.
Movement and Dance Therapy (MDT)
Individual and Group
MDT is a body-oriented psychotherapy. Based in humanistic psychology, it fosters a concrete interaction between the body, spirit and soul. MDT is a form of expressive therapy which pays attention to the wisdom of the body and helps us discover the unique sacred and healing space within ourselves.
MDT offers the chance to learn, to know and to accept one’s self. Pain, disappointment and trauma are carried in the body at a cellular level. MDT offers the participant the opportunity to understand, to heal, and to integrate new freedom into one’s daily life.
