He believes that the practice of therapy is a creative, collaborative endeavor that makes use of science, theory, intuition, improvisation, insight and spirituality.
Bill has practiced Vipassana meditation (from Theravada Buddhism) for over a decade. He integrates that mindfulness with relational psychodynamic principles in his work with the ever-present intention to put the values, personality and goals of each client at the center of every therapeutic encounter. Bill has a strong commitment to social justice in his therapy practice. He welcomes individuals and couples of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, abilities and body types.
